Your Data & Deletion

Gnos Legal

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Gnos currently has no Vexellab account to delete. Your saved library and listening preferences are stored on your device. You can manage them from Gnos → Settings → Storage & privacy.

Choose what to clear

Control What it removes
Clear search history The current recent-played search keywords and legacy recent-query records on this device.
Clear listening history Recent plays and listening-based recommendation statistics on this device. New listening can create new history.
Clear artwork cache Cached cover images. Images may download again when needed.
Reset library Explicit favorites, saved albums/artists/playlists, local playlists, and stored collection-track metadata.

Reset library is destructive and requires confirmation. It does not remove songs from YouTube or delete a provider account. Each control covers its named data category; clearing history does not reset your saved library. Currently playing queue entries may remain in memory until playback/app use ends.

Location and browser data

To stop new location access, change Gnos’s permission in your device’s privacy or app settings. A previously saved broad discovery area may remain locally.

To remove all remaining app preferences, saved area information, and embedded browser data, use your device’s app-data removal controls or delete the app. On iOS, Delete App differs from Offload App, which can retain documents and data. On Android, storage/app-data controls vary by device manufacturer. Backups or later device restoration can restore previously backed-up data.

Third-party accounts and information

Deleting Gnos or clearing its local data does not delete your Google/YouTube account or information held by another provider. If you used provider sign-in through the source browser, use the provider’s own account and session controls. For Google-held information, see Google Account and Google Privacy Policy.

Search and playback requests are transmitted to source services even when they are not saved in Gnos’s local history. Providers may retain those requests under their own policies.

Support and privacy requests

For information you sent to Vexellab support, or questions about these controls, contact Vexellab Solutions LLP through the Vexellab contact page. Identify Gnos and the request you want help with. Do not send account passwords or signed media URLs.

Vexellab cannot remotely retrieve or erase library information that exists only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for retention and rights information and the Terms & Conditions for service terms.
