Gnos Legal

These terms govern your use of Gnos, provided by Vexellab Solutions LLP (“Vexellab”, “we”, “us”). By using Gnos, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app.
Gnos provides music discovery, playback controls, bookmarks, explicit favorites, local playlists, imported collection references, and listening-based suggestions. Features depend on your device, network, permissions, and third-party services. No Vexellab user account is required in the current app.
For copies obtained through the Apple App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the application license where applicable. These Gnos-specific terms supplement service use and do not reduce rights provided by that agreement or mandatory consumer law.
Gnos is independently developed. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, YouTube, YouTube Music, or Apple. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. Source attribution identifies the service used; it does not indicate an official partnership.
Music, videos, artwork, metadata, and other third-party materials remain the property of their owners. Bookmarking, favoriting, importing a collection, or using Gnos does not purchase content, transfer copyright, or grant a license to copy, redistribute, publicly perform, or commercially exploit it.
Your access to third-party services is also subject to their applicable terms, including YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Terms of Service. These Gnos terms do not grant authorization that must come from a content owner or service.
Use Gnos only for lawful purposes and content you are permitted to access. Do not use it for infringement, unauthorized redistribution, unlawful file sharing, abuse, fraud, or attempts to compromise devices or services. Do not attempt to bypass access restrictions or interfere with other users or providers.
You must meet applicable store and source-service age requirements. A parent or guardian must provide supervision or permission where required by law.
Library entries and imports store references and metadata, not ownership of music recordings. Explicit favorites are independent of saved collections. Local playlists and preferences can be lost through deletion, device failure, operating-system changes, or reset actions. The current app does not provide a Vexellab cloud-sync or backup account.
Review the Privacy Policy and Your Data & Deletion for information about device storage, network providers, location, and data controls.
Content may be removed, restricted, changed, or made unavailable by its provider. Search results, recommendations, artwork, chart information, and metadata may be incomplete or inaccurate. A saved reference does not guarantee future playback. Internet access is required for streaming; device and network conditions affect quality, buffering, and background playback.
We may update or discontinue features as source interfaces, technology, or legal requirements change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, availability of every recording, a particular audio quality, or an advertisement-free experience in third-party source pages.
The current Gnos build does not include in-app subscriptions or purchases. Charges for connectivity, mobile data, or third-party services are governed by your agreements with the respective providers.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gnos is provided “as is” and “as available”, without additional warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Vexellab is not responsible for third-party content, provider outages, or changes outside its control.
To the extent permitted by law, Vexellab will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, or overrides applicable rights under the store’s license agreement.
Vexellab provides support for Gnos through the contact page below. Apple and other distribution platforms are not responsible for providing Gnos-specific maintenance or support except as their applicable terms require.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues, legal obligations, or loss of source availability. You may stop using Gnos and remove the app at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Kerala, India, except where mandatory laws or consumer protections applicable to you require otherwise. Changes to these terms will be published here, with notice where required by law.
